1st-2nd round Euro Cup Alpe Adria Brno - Czech Republic Composit

Composit Motorsport continues the winning trend in Europe as well
The first round of the Euro Cup Alpe Adria meets the expectations of the
Composit Motorsport, Marco and Paolo Ansaloni's team introduced itself in
the best shape on the Czech track at Brno and gained two victories with
Cristian Ricciarini.
The Composit's driver leapt from the first position in both races and led
from the first to the last lap, without giving up to the rivals. In
particular, in the race-1, the Clio driven by Ricciarini had always on its
back the Swiss driver Mathias Slappi.
The success in the second race was more decisive even if Ricciarini,
according to the regulation that allow to use six new tires during the week
end, used them in the first race, while his most frightful rival, Slappi,
used the new ones in the second race. In the race-2, the Swiss, though he
had new tires, suffered the performances of Ricciarini's Clio, that appeared
perfectly balanced and unbeatable on the technical curves of the Czech
circuit.
The great performance of the Composit Motorssport is underlined by the
double podium of Stefano Zanini in the race-1 and Dan Liposcak in the
race-2.
The team one week later, after the double Italian win at Vallelunga, repeats
itself in the continental Championship and get ready to face the next races
in high spirits.
Now, Paolo and Marco can look quietly to the next engagement of the Alpe
Adria Euro Cup, on July from the 2nd to the 4th on the Hunhgaroring F1
Circuit at Budapest.

Paolo Ansaloni - Team Manager Composit Motorsport:
"We made a wonderful job because in the race 2 we used old tires on
Ricciarini's car, while our direct rival had the new one. Although we were
very competitive and we were able to outdistance Slappi, and this means that
the improvement of the set up between race 1 and race 2 has been incisive."

Marco Ansaloni - Dierettore Sportico Composit Motorsport:
"It has been a positive week end that charges up very much. Dan and Stefano
gained two deserved podiums and this proves that Composit's strength is on
the group."

In the week end at Vallelunga the Composit Motorsport initialed the pole, two victories and even two podiums, its drivers are at the moment in the first three positions of the ranking and the Team is the leader of the Championship. These results can be summarized as a real triumph.

With the last race at Vallelunga, the team of the Ansaloni’s brothers completes the first three races of the Clio Cup with a muster roll really impressive!

There’s no better introduction for Paolo Ansaloni’s team to get ready in the best way at the forthcoming debut in the Euro Cup Alpe Adria Championship, that will take place next Sunday (June, 6th) on the spectacular Czech track at Brno.

Also in the Alpe Adria Championship the Composit Motorsport is one of the favorite team, strong of Giancarlo Lenzotti’s win in the past season.

In the Alpe Adria Championship will take the field Cristian Ricciarini, Piero Foglio, Daniele Pasquali, Stefano Zanini and the promising young motorsport Croatian driver Dan Liposcak.

Paolo Ansaloni – Team Manager Composit Motorsport:

It has been a great satisfaction to see our cars fighting in both races at the top of the ranking. Besides the Lenzotti’s wonderful double victory, the success is completed by all our drivers, because Ricciarini gained the podium in race-1 and keeps the leadership of the ranking, but also Perfetti made a fantastic race. Very important has been the Marchetti’s race and I also want to underline the performance of Piero Foglio, already very fast on this track during the test as well. Piero was unlucky, but demonstrated of having the rhythm to improve at the end of the season.”
